Purpose of Consultancy

Operate as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, which provides technical, policy and programme support and guidance to government and CSO entities in an integrated and coordinated manner. The Consultant will support the implementation of the Belize Spotlight programme, with particular focus on gender based violence and Violence Against Women & Girls.
 

Expected Outputs, et al

  • Contribute to the effective implementation of the project activities in line with the approved country programme and budget through continuous monitoring and quality assurance for activities.
  • Participate and contribute in technical and coordination team spaces and support preparation for engagement in other spaces under the governance structure of the Spotlight Initiative, as well as other relevant UN interagency groups.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of and provide technical support to activities as the RUNO lead for Spotlight Pillar 3 – prevention and positive social norms change, in collaboration with other UN agencies.
