#SpotlightEndViolence summary video: Jamaican entertainers join the EU, the UN Country Team and policy makers to address Violence against Women and Girls at the national launch of the EU-funded and UN-led Spotlight Initiative against Family Violence on the 9th March 2020 at the University of the West Indies Regional Headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica. The European Union is providing funds of approximately 8 million (EUR) to Jamaica for the Spotlight Initiative, with implementation activities being led by the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in collaboration with United Nations sister agencies such as UN Women Caribbean , UNFPA, UNDP Jamaica,UNICEF Jamaica and government partner, the Bureau of Gender Affairs Jamaica.
