Purpose of Intership
The intern will assist with activities related to Partnerships and Resource Mobilization for UNFPA Caribbean.
Scope of work
- Work with Liaison Officers to conduct donor/partner intelligence research /mapping for the private sector and foundations, as well as particular individuals appropriate for UNFPA Caribbean (for visibility and financial collaboration).
- Identify global and regional foundations with a specific interest to UNFPA's mandate and create a database
- Assist with the development of donor/partner briefs for programmatic engagement with a focus on private sector across the Sub-region (Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ), Financial Institutions, Digicel, Flow, GTT, TelSur etc.)
- Assist with all resource mobilization and partnerships engagements with governments, external development partners and other organizations
