Purpose of Intership

The intern will assist with activities related to Partnerships and Resource Mobilization for UNFPA Caribbean. 

Scope of work 

  1. Work with Liaison Officers to conduct donor/partner intelligence research /mapping for the private sector and foundations, as well as particular individuals appropriate for UNFPA Caribbean (for visibility and financial collaboration).
  2. Identify global and regional foundations with a specific interest to UNFPA's mandate and create a database
  3. Assist with the development of donor/partner briefs for programmatic engagement with a focus on private sector across the Sub-region (Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ), Financial Institutions, Digicel, Flow, GTT, TelSur etc.)
  4. Assist with all resource mobilization and partnerships engagements with governments, external development partners and other organizations
