UNFPA Caribbean - PIOJ Williams: Robust investment in our girls is an effective development strategy
Mr. Easton Williams, Director of Social Policy, Planning and Research shares the adolescent and youth development goals expressed in Vision 2030, Jamaica’s long term development plan. He appeals for support in the implementation of better governance, infrastructure and education which will help alleviate the inter-generational poverty which plagues many Jamaicans. He was speaking at the 11 November launch of the 2016 State of the World Population Report (SWOP) at the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) in Kingston, Jamaica.
