UNFPA Caribbean and our partners are excited to host our first “What’s Changed?" Regional Conversation. This will take place from 27 -30 August 2019 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The Caribbean will now contribute to the current series of global discussions on #ICPD25, as part of the lead-up to The Nairobi Summit to be held in Kenya, come November 2019.

Over the four days, specially invited youth leaders, civil society partners, and Parliamentarians will converse on the progress and challenges related to the #ICPD25 agenda.

The Conversation will offer an inclusive platform to support regional, national and local commitments of the ICPD Programme of Action within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).   Representatives from across the 22 English and Dutch speaking countries served by our Sub-Regional Office are expected to participate.

UNFPA Caribbean is organizing these conversations to reflect on the global achievements in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights over the past 25 years, and to stimulate the new thinking and solutions which are needed to advance the ICPD Programme of Action.
