On October 11 the SRO in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Culture and with the full support of the UN system in Jamaica ,hosted a public forum on sexual violence at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston. Approximately one hundred and sixty persons representing the government, the UN system in Jamaica, men and youth activists, artistes, students, community groups and other civil society organizations and members of the public, participated in the activity held under the theme: Ending Impunity for sexual Violence: Breaking the Silence.
