Please join us in welcoming Ms. Jewell Quallo Rosberg as the UNFPA SROC’s Officer in Charge (OIC). Jewell first joined UNFPA as the Liaison Officer in Belize. She also served as the Technical Advisor responsible for Suriname and Gender Advisor at the SROC, where she provided technical and strategic guidance to the English and Dutch-speaking Caribbean.
As an international development practitioner, she has over thirty years experience in leadership, negotiation, policy development as well as sexual and reproductive health management, including gender and education. Jewell is also well-versed in career guidance and development. Prior to joining UNFPA, she was the Executive Director of the Belize Family Life Association from 1987-2007, where she supported sexual reproductive health and rights and family programming.
Jewell is a Belize national and will be the OIC until December when a new Director will be appointed.
