Call them in advance to ask for an appointment that will permit you to respect social distancing and not have to wait long. Prime Minister Andrew Holness considers the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls a high priority for the Government of Jamaica. He was speaking at the national launch of the EU-funded and UN-led Spotlight Initiative against Family Violence on the 9th March 2020 at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston, Jamaica. The European Union is providing funds of approximately 8 million (EUR) to Jamaica for the Spotlight Initiative, with implementation activities being led by the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Jamaica, in collaboration with United Nations sister agencies such as UN Women Caribbean , UNFPA, UNDP Jamaica, UNICEF Jamaica and government partner, the Bureau of Gender Affairs Jamaica.

She was speaking at the national launch of the EU-funded and UN-led Spotlight Initiative against Family Violence on the 9th March 2020 at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston, Jamaica.
