Laws enacted
Amendment of STI law to include HIV/AIDS to facilitate surveillance; provision of ARVs.
Policies Implemented
- Nation wide cervical screening programme by Ministry of Health;
- National AIDS programme established;
- Ministry of Health currently preparing a policy regarding adolescents and reproductive health to be integrated into primary health care.
