In agreement with the International Conference on Population and Development targets, the Millennium Development Goals and other international agreements, UNFPA and the European Commission have joined forces to support a number of ACP countries, including Suriname, to contribute to poverty reduction and improvement of the quality of life of their populations through improvement of sexual and reproductive health.
